This segment is used in those cases where despatch unit coding has not yet been implemented, not allowing direct ordering in LIN, yet requirements exist to define the despatch unit to be delivered.

Applying this example to the first line item, the instruction is to pack the 48 units ordered in the QTY at LIN level into 4 cases, i.e. into despatch units containing 12 ordered units each.
Dependency Notes :
Composite C532 is only used where the packaging being described is returnable. This composite identifies who is responsible for the payment of its return. |
